So, after a little more than a month and several events, we have approximately 600 or about 25% of our needed petitions in hand. Additionally, I am aware of at least another 100 or so that are in the hands of some of my volunteers. Our official total will be somewhat less than this as I am sure not all of the petitions are valid. My wife and I are in the process of vetting the petitions we currently have to cut down on the number of rejects. We have a goal to be done with petitions by the end of summer.
I would like to thank all of the volunteers that have helped me so far: Teresa Herbst and our kids, Jimmy Cowan, Henry and Jennifer Franco, DJ Holly, Kim Fox, Marianne Glorius, Jeff and Tina Bairstow, Parish Tanner, Walt Krumm, and others that wish to remain anonymous. I apologize if I left anyone out.
In other news, I have made some additions to this website including a bio page, an issues page, and a photo page. Also, I have added photos to this website and updated my profile pictures on LinkedIn and Facebook.
I will be speaking at the On Top of the World Republican club on April 12th at 7PM. Also, I have several other events that I will be attending in the near future including the Marion County’s 175th Anniversary on March 29th. I hope to see all of you there.
